Senior Networking Architect

About the role

NVIDIA is seeking a Senior Networking Architect to lead the development of the next generation of network solutions for AI. Ideal candidates should have a strong background in networking, routing protocols, and experience in ASIC design and real-time software.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement networking solutions to support the next generation of AI-driven data centers.
• Collaborate with internal teams, strategic partners, standard bodies, and networking communities to advance groundbreaking networking solutions for AI.
• Work across various layers including ASIC design, algorithms, topologies, and systems.

Requirements

• B.Sc or M.Sc degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of previous industry or research experience in computer networks.
• Experience in developing ASICs and/or real-time software running on the ASICs.
• Proven understanding in networking and routing protocols, and their implementations.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work concurrently with multiple groups in the organization and with strategic partners.

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge in RDMA, with a focus on RoCE.
• Understanding of various network topologies and their attributes.
• Experience with load balancing and congestion control algorithms.
• Proven practice of industry standards and/or experience with standards organizations and/or open source communities.
• Strong skills with Python and/or C++.

Benefits

Competitive salaries and a generous benefits package are offered. The base salary range for Level 3 is $152,000 - $241,500 USD, and for Level 4 is $184,000 - $287,500 USD. Additionally, you will be eligible for equity and benefits.

Pay

Base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.
