About the Role: The Senior Network Engineer role is critical to maintaining and advancing the organization’s enterprise network infrastructure. This position ensures secure, resilient, and scalable network services across various facilities and cloud environments, directly supporting business and operational needs. The role involves collaboration with multiple internal teams to deliver reliable, high-availability network solutions that underpin the company’s missio n .Responsibilit ie s:Design, implement, and maintain secure and resilient enterprise network infrastructureSupport campus, WAN, wireless, VPN, and data center networksDevelop network segmentation, VLAN architectures, routing, switching, firewall policies, and secure remote accessEvaluate and implement new networking technologies and architectural improvementsEnsure high availability, redundancy, and disaster recovery for network infrastructureConfigure, maintain, and troubleshoot network devices including switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless systemsManage enterprise firewall platforms, VPN connectivity, network access controls, andNACMonitor network performance and security using enterprise monitoring toolsInvestigate and resolve complex network issuesImplement security best practices including Zero Trust principles and IDS/IPSSupport vulnerability remediation and infrastructure hardeningManage networking for VMware-based data centers and hybrid cloud environmentsDesign and maintain connectivity between on-premises and cloud platforms (Azure and AWS)Support DNS, DHCP, IP address management, and other network servicesAssist with backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning for network infrastructureCollaborate with Systems Engineering, Cybersecurity, Cloud Infrastructure, Manufacturing Engineering, and vendorsParticipate in infrastructure planning, technology evaluations, and cross-functional projectsProvide Tier III escalation support for complex network issuesDevelop and maintain network documentation, standards, and operational proceduresMentor junior IT staff and promote networking best pra cti cesQualifi cati ons:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or equivalent experience8+ years of experience in enterprise network infrastructure design, implementation, a nd su pportRequ ired S kills:Proficient with enterprise routing and switching technologiesHands-on experience with Fortinet and Cisco networking platforms including FortiGate firewalls and Cisco switches, routers, and wireless infrastructureSkilled in designing secure networks using VLANs, routing protocols, VPNs, firewall policies, and segmentationFamiliarity with VMware networking and virtual infrastructureExperience with network monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance analysis toolsStrong knowledge of enterprise cybersecurity principles and Zero Trust networkingExcellent documentation, communication, and project man agement skillsP referred Skills:Preferred experience supporting manufacturing, Operational Technology, or industrial environmentsPreferred familiarity with industrial networking technologies (Ethernet/IP, PROFINET, Modbus TCP, OPCUA, DNP3)Preferred understanding of OT cybersecurity standards (IEC 62443, NISTSP800-82)Preferred experience with SCADA systems, industrial automation, or controlnetworksPreferred experience with Fortinet Secure SD-WAN, FortiAnalyzer, or FortiAuthenticatorRelevant certifications such as CCNP Enterprise, CCIE, Fortinet NSE/FCP/FCSS, CISSP, or GICSP preferredPay Range and C ompensatio n Package:Salary range from $135,000 to $160,000 USD depending on location, qualifications, andexperienceEquity grantopportunity$75/month cell phone allowance4% employer 401(k) matchAccess to medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability pl ansDiscreti onary bonusEqual Opportunity Statement: Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
