Amentum/Secure Networking Solutions is seeking a Wireless Intrusion Detection Specialist to manage up to 20 personnel overseeing the program’s Monitoring and Response (M&R).
Responsibilities
- Design and deploy functional servers on Linux and Windows operating systems.
- Maintain system compliance with cyber security standards and practices.
- Monitor system performance and integrity.
- Automate tasks and monitor their effectiveness.
- Create, oversee, and test security measures (e.g., access authentication and disaster recovery).
- Consolidate Monthly Reports, including Contract Status Reports, Program Management Reviews, and other Contract Deliverables in coordination with PM.
- Conduct high-level overviews with government COR and CO.
- Communicate with users when needed.
- Maintain complete technical documentation.
- Suggest improvements to performance, capacity, and scalability.
- Install systems in CONUS and potentially OCONUS locations as directed by project PM.
Requirements
- Background and experience in Bastille WIDS administrative functions, metrics, and active M&R.
- Experience with wireless monitoring equipment to identify unauthorized signals and make recommended mitigations and response.
- Experience working with the IC and DoD elements and supporting contractor base.
- Experience in coordinating, collaborating, and deconflicting issues with IC partners.
- Experience in writing operating procedures and reporting templates to ensure best practices are implemented across sections in accordance with national and DoD requirements.
- Comprehensive knowledge of National and DoD directives, orders, regulations, and instructions governing the conduct of WIDS activities.
- Comprehensive knowledge of wireless protocols and Radio Frequency (RF) theory.
- Experience with mobile wireless direction-finding equipment and signal detection, identification, and reporting.
- Ability to travel worldwide.
- TS/SCI with Poly security clearance required.
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant area, such as Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or other computer or information technology-related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience (3-5 years with a Master’s degree, 1-2 years with a PhD).
