Senior Network Specialist

Essential Duties

• Provides routine testing and analysis of network facilities
• Install, configure, and support an organization's local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), and Internet systems or a segment of a network system.
• Maintain network availability to all system users through monitoring and perform necessary maintenance.
• Troubleshoot network systems and performance as necessary.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 6 years of experience, or Associates degree and 8 years of experience, or 10 years of experience without a degree.
• Experience with Cisco networking equipment such as routers and switches.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain an active Secret or Top Secret clearance.
• Experience with IPv6 protocol is required along with level 3 network protocols.

Pay

$135,000 - $165,000 (based on experience)
