Senior Network Project Engineer
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Network Project Engineer to support a growing portfolio of network infrastructure projects and site deployments. This role will partner closely with a Senior Project Manager who currently serves as the primary lead for new site implementations and network initiatives.
About the role
The ideal candidate will help alleviate project workload by taking ownership of technical project scoping, network deployment planning, and execution support for new site builds and infrastructure upgrades. This individual will be responsible for driving network readiness, coordinating circuit provisioning, and ensuring successful deployment of core networking technologies, including SD-WAN, LAN, wireless, firewalls, and Zscaler solutions.
Responsibilities
- Support the planning, design, and execution of new site deployments and network infrastructure projects.
- Scope and document network requirements for new office and facility implementations.
- Manage and track circuit installations, connectivity provisioning, and vendor deliverables.
- Coordinate activities required to bring sites online and ensure network readiness.
- Lead technical efforts involving:
- SD-WAN deployments
- LAN infrastructure
- Wireless networking solutions
- Firewall implementations
- Zscaler security solutions
- Work with internal stakeholders, project managers, architects, engineers, and third-party vendors throughout the project lifecycle.
- Identify project risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies.
- Assist with network design reviews, implementation planning, and operational handoffs.
- Support troubleshooting and issue resolution during deployment and migration activities.
- Collaborate with global teams, including offshore resources, to ensure project success.
Requirements
- Expert-level experience in network engineering, SD-WAN, deployments, firewalls, Zscaler, LAN, WAN, and troubleshooting.
Pay
The pay range for this position is $75.00 - $90.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
