Senior Network Engineer / M365 / Infrastructure

About the role

A growing, multi-location organization headquartered in downtown Chicago is expanding its internal IT team to support continued business growth and new site openings. This role focuses on enterprise network infrastructure, multi-site connectivity, and systems support, with a strong emphasis on Cisco Meraki environments and an upcoming network migration project.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on engineering work including routing, switching, and troubleshooting in production environments
• Supporting multi-location or distributed environments
• Collaborating with senior IT leadership on large-scale network transitions
• Managing Windows Server and Active Directory environments
• Participating in network migration and infrastructure upgrade projects
• Working with senior stakeholders to communicate effectively

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in Network Engineering or Infrastructure Engineering
• Strong hands-on networking experience including routing, switching, firewalls, and wireless environments
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve network issues in production environments
• Solid understanding of Windows Server and Active Directory

Qualifications

• Experience with Cisco Meraki (required)
• Desired exposure to Ubiquiti or similar networking platforms
• Experience with network migrations or infrastructure upgrade projects
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 and cloud-based environments
• Experience in restaurant, retail, or other operational environments
