Senior Infrastructure Technology Network Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and deploy LAN, WAN, and wireless networks that meet business and technical requirements.
• Monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement improvements that strengthen efficiency, resiliency, and reliability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network hardware, software, and connectivity issues in a timely and effective manner.
• Support network security through firewalls, VPNs, access controls, and related protocols that help protect data and systems.
• Maintain accurate documentation for network configurations, standards, processes, and change activity.
• Collaborate with IT teams, business stakeholders, and vendors on network projects, upgrades, and operational improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in network engineering or similar infrastructure role.
• Demonstrated experience designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise-scale networks.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, routing, switching, and core network protocols.
• Experience with Cisco, Juniper, or comparable network hardware and management tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Clear communication skills and the ability to produce accurate technical documentation.
• Industry certifications such as Cisco: CCNA/CCNP, or CCIE, Juniper JNCIP/JNCIE, Palo Alto PCNSE, F5, Aruba, CompTIA Network+/Security+, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with cloud networking, virtualization technologies, and hybrid infrastructure environments is a plus.
• Working knowledge of network automation and scripting tools such as Python or PowerShell is a plus.
