Network Engineer
Location: Texas
Position Overview: We are seeking a Network Engineer to support the design, implementation, integration, and maintenance of secure, reliable, and scalable network infrastructure. This individual will work closely with customers, project stakeholders, and cross-functional engineering teams to deliver high-performing network solutions that meet business and technical requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure, integrate, and manage routers, switches, and firewalls to support secure and scalable network operations
- Troubleshoot network issues and provide timely resolution of incidents and performance concerns
- Monitor, analyze, and optimize network performance across enterprise environments
- Design and implement scalable, secure network architectures for high-availability systems
- Collaborate with customers, project managers, engineering teams, and external stakeholders to ensure successful project execution
- Review technical requirements and translate them into network designs and implementation plans
- Support systems integration efforts and interface management activities
- Maintain network documentation, standards, and operational procedures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Network Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline
- Experience designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise network infrastructure
- Strong understanding of network architecture, optimization, and security best practices
- Experience working with commercial networking technologies such as Cisco, Juniper, or similar platforms
- Familiarity with network troubleshooting methodologies and performance analysis
- Experience supporting systems integration and interface management initiatives
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced technical environment
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
- CCNA, CCNP, or other relevant networking certifications
- Experience supporting high-availability and mission-critical network environments
- Exposure to enterprise security technologies and network monitoring tools
- Knowledge of routing, switching, firewall management, and network segmentation
