Senior Network Engineer

Clean Harbors is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to assist in the development and maintenance of network communications. Uses knowledge of LAN/WAN systems to help design and install internal and external networks. Tests and evaluates network systems to eliminate problems and make improvements. Serves as primary contact for remote locations and customers to obtain clarification of problems and provides resolution for system failures or degradations. Rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Responsible for evaluating current systems. Works on complex problems where analysis of situation requires in-depth evaluation of various factors. Plans large scale systems projects through vendor comparison and cost studies. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering/Related7+ years of experience in similar roleExperience deploying, administering, and troubleshooting Cisco routing and switchingDesigning large scalable networksManaging and configuring wireless connectivityExperience with advanced network monitoring toolsTroubleshooting network connectivity issuesThorough understanding of DNSExperience with load balancingConfiguring IDS / IPSConfiguring VPN both S2S and clientExpert level skills configuring and maintaining Palo Alto firewallsExperience with Cisco Nexus data center switches and vxlanUnderstanding of VoIPThorough understanding of Routing protocols specifically OSPF, & BGPExperience configuration Microsoft Azure networking including vwans, vnets, vhubs, resource groups and subscriptionsExperience working with vendors configuring and turning up multiple WAN circuits Wondering what to expect in starting your career with Clean Harbors?
