Senior Network Administrator
About the role
A key member of the Wyandot Behavioral Health Network Information Technology team, the Network Administrator is responsible for all aspects of network administration, including servers, desktop/laptop systems, communications/networking equipment, hardware, and software configurations for business-critical and ancillary programs.
Responsibilities
- Operate, configure, and optimize the desktop computing environment, including servers, desktops/laptops, and related software.
- Operate, configure, and optimize the infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, WiFi systems, VPN devices, and related software.
- Optimize and maintain the Active Directory (AD) environment, including user infrastructure, and enforce organizational policies.
- Maintain computer hardware inventory through Active Directory for security and accountability.
- Maintain Windows Software Update Service (WSUS) to proactively address systemic flaws and vulnerabilities.
- Maintain Antivirus Server and clients to provide virus protection for all server and desktop/laptop clients.
- Administer Group Policy Objects (GPO) to enforce IT policy and improve the end-user interface with systems.
- Develop and maintain network configuration documentation using MS Visio diagrams.
- Research and suggest improvements, modifications, and potential risks to the business network.
- Collaborate with the Network Security Administrator and the IT team to mitigate risks, improve operations, and evaluate infrastructure improvements.
- Administer backup and data servers, NAS, and other file servers in accordance with HIPAA and Wyandot, Inc. rules and policies.
- Provide top-level support for server, network, and desktop hardware, software, and applications.
- Administer and support CUCM, UCCX, WxC, Cisco Customer Assist, and all aspects of Wyandot telephony infrastructure and operations.
- Contribute significantly to ongoing development and technology needs assessments.
- Manage projects with vendor collaboration related to network infrastructure, server evolutions, and desktop software releases.
- Administer the firewall boundary and VPN device, research and recommend upgrades, and ensure security and availability of the business network.
- Assist the Director of Information Technology in the overall management of the IT Department.
- Provide occasional after-hours telephone and remote support as required.
- Work with the IT team in all aspects of network, customer, and technology support, including 3rd tier help desk and on-call rotation.
- Act professionally in accordance with WBHN policy in all aspects of work.
Requirements
- Degree, equivalent certifications, or a combination of formal education and experience required.
- Strong desire to continue education, skills, and certification.
- Proven ability to use industry procedures and tools to effectively manage and administer the business network.
- Demonstrated expertise with MS Azure, Cloud/Hybrid and Active Directory, Exchange, and Microsoft Server products.
- Demonstrated expertise with Windows 10 and 11 desktop installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Administration experience with Cisco UCM, WxC, and UCCX infrastructure.
- Ability to provide telephone and in-person customer support to a wide range of computer user skill levels.
- Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain the confidentiality and sensitivity of company and intra-agency information systems while upholding high ethical standards regarding consumer information and access.

Location & Work Conditions
Based at the 47th Street location, assigned duties may require activity at other locations, various community sites, or business locations. May require non-routine business hours and travel for system requirements and emergency support calls. Organizational network may be accessible through connections from staff residences from assigned company devices, with support limited to business applications and company hardware only.
