Senior Network Administrator

Position Summary

Odyssey Systems is seeking a Senior Network Administrator to support the Training Division (AFLCMC/WNR) at Hill Air Force Base in Ogden, Utah. The WNR Division serves as the Air Force's technical, acquisition, and sustainment authority, delivering comprehensive and mission-critical support to the warfighter.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain LAN and WAN systems, including network security across classified and unclassified environments
• Provide secure communication venues for product teams to discuss sensitive requirements and designs
• Support assessment, development, and sustainment of telecommunications infrastructure including phones, videoconferencing, and messaging systems
• Aid in the development of web-based IT equipment management systems and custom Government software applications
• Perform VMware server administration, including virtualization and high-availability environments
• Manage IT trouble tickets and user access to Government systems such as ABSS, CPARs, and CAS
• Install and maintain communications cabling including CAT5 and fiber infrastructure
• Develop documentation and artifacts required for DIACAP and RMF certification of classified and unclassified networks
• Analyze system usage, troubleshoot IT infrastructure issues, and implement upgrades to improve reliability
• Support Air Force network interfaces to ensure availability and integrity of mission-critical systems

Qualifications

• Citizenship: Must be a U.S. citizen
• Clearance: Active Secret clearance
• Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 12 years of experience in the respective technical discipline, including 5 years in the DoD OR, 15 years of directly related experience with appropriate certifications, including 8 years in the DoD
• Certifications: DoD 8570.01-M Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II certification
• Education: Masters or Doctorate Degree in related field with at least 10 years of experience in technical discipline, including 5 years in DoD
