Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
- Desktop Support & Management
- Provide Tier 1 & Tier 2 support for end-user desktops and laptops (Windows/Mac).
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
- Deploy and manage desktops, applications, and patches using standard tools.
- Maintain hardware asset inventory and software license compliance.
- Network Administration
- Configure, monitor, and maintain network devices including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless clients.
- Ensure network performance, reliability, and security across LAN/WAN.
- Monitor network traffic and resolve performance bottlenecks.
- Implement and manage VPNs and remote access solutions.
- Server Management
- Administer Windows/Linux servers and related services (DNS, DHCP, AD, etc.).
- Monitor server performance, backups, and system updates.
- Support virtual environments (VMware, Hyper-V) and perform capacity planning.
- Storage Management
- Maintain SAN/NAS systems and manage data storage operations.
- Monitor disk usage and plan for capacity upgrades.
- Ensure data integrity and backup/restore procedures are properly implemented.
- Datacenter Support
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the data center.
- Ensure uptime and redundancy for critical infrastructure.
- Maintain physical and environmental conditions (power, cooling, cabling).
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in network and system administration.
- Proficient in Windows/Linux OS, networking protocols, and virtual environments.
- Experience with backup solutions, monitoring tools, and IT security practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or in a team.
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS).
- Familiarity with scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash).
- ITIL certification or experience in structured IT service environments.
