Senior Network Administrator

About the role

The Senior Network Administrator is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the network infrastructure of a leading technology firm. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in network design, security, and management.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable network solutions to support business needs.
• Manage network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and servers.
• Ensure network security through regular audits and updates.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for network issues.
• Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration of systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in network administration.
• Experience with Cisco, Juniper, and/or Arista networking equipment.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP protocols and network topologies.
• Proficient in Windows Server and Linux operating systems.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent certifications preferred.
• Experience with network monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, Nagios, or similar.
• Knowledge of cloud technologies and virtualization platforms.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
