Senior .Net Developer: (Onsite)

About the role

Vitu is transforming the way vehicles, businesses, government, and drivers interact through Vehicle-to-Government (V2Gov) technology. Our platform manages titling and registration transactions across all 50 states, reimagining how drivers, businesses, and governments engage with vehicles. This role involves analyzing business requirements, collaborating with US business analytics and managers, and developing software solutions either as part of a team or semi-independently for R&D projects.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, design, and develop software applications for both new and existing products.
• Detect, analyze, and resolve problems associated with applications and their dependent systems/services.
• Build a strong working knowledge of product architecture, technology stack, and deployment infrastructure.
• Review and verify requirements/specifications with product, business, and system analysts.
• Review test plans and acceptance criteria with testers/QA.
• Conduct quality reviews and verification of coding/designs.
• Mentor and guide less experienced peers.
• Document technical designs, specifications, and analysis on tech wiki or SharePoint.
• Integrate user-facing elements developed by front-end teams with server-side logic.
• Design, develop, and support REST Web Services.
• Optimize high performance, stability, and responsiveness to requests from the front-end.
• Design and implement data storage solutions.
• Implement security and data protection measures.
• Support multiple projects simultaneously while managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• 5+ years of related work experience.
• Demonstrated experience implementing distributed systems and building reliable data integrations.
• Solid engineering fundamentals and understanding of data structures and algorithms.
• Experience with CI/CD, test-driven development, pull requests, and agile methodologies.
• Proficiency with Git.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Solid understanding of REST and SOAP API design methodologies using .Net Core, C#, and ASP.Net Core.
• Experience working with Cloud/Kubernetes infrastructure (GCP is a plus).
• Strong understanding of relational database design and experience with PostgreSQL.
• Working knowledge of common design patterns, OOA&D, and SOLID principles.
• Experience implementing security standards (OWASP is a plus).
• Excellent hands-on design, coding, testing, and debugging skills.
• Knowledge of logging and auditing mechanisms.
• Great communication skills, including experience working in geographically distributed teams.
• Readiness to collaborate with project stakeholders and business analysts.
• Experience creating technical documentation.

Pay

The salary range for this position is $130,000 - $160,000. The final pay will be determined by factors including location, education, experience, training, and skills.
