Senior .NET Developer

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Technical Lead with deep expertise in .NET, Azure, and C# to lead a technical team in designing, developing, and implementing software solutions. This role involves providing technical guidance, mentoring team members, and ensuring the successful delivery of projects within specified timelines. The ideal candidate will support strategic Banking and Payments modernization initiatives, working on scalable, high-performance applications used across Payments, Treasury, Commercial Banking, and Digital Banking platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team in architecting, designing, and implementing scalable and secure .NET applications on the Azure cloud platform.
• Provide technical expertise in C# programming to optimize application performance and functionality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, analyze technical feasibility, and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Conduct code reviews, identify areas for improvement, and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues, propose innovative solutions, and implement fixes to enhance system reliability.
• Stay updated with the latest trends in .NET, Azure, and C# technologies to drive continuous improvement and innovation within the team.
• Design and develop applications using C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET Core, Web APIs, and Microservices Architecture.
• Build and maintain secure, scalable REST APIs and backend services.
• Develop event-driven and distributed solutions using Kafka, MQ, or messaging platforms.
• Collaborate with Business, Architecture, QA, and DevOps teams in an Agile environment.
• Participate in application modernization from legacy platforms to cloud-native solutions.
• Integrate applications with banking systems supporting Payments, Treasury, and Customer Onboarding.
• Support CI/CD implementation and production deployments.

Requirements

• 8+ years of software development experience.
• Proficient in .NET Framework, including ASP.NET, MVC, and Web API for building robust web applications.
• Strong knowledge of Azure cloud services such as Azure Functions, Azure SQL Database, and Azure App Service.
• Expertise in C# programming with strong object-oriented design principles and development patterns.
• Experience designing and implementing Microservices architecture using .NET Core and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automation tools.
