Senior .NET Developer

Role Summary

This software development role involves designing, developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining custom applications within a collaborative team environment. The position requires a strong understanding of software development principles, including object-oriented design and multi-tier architecture, to deliver scalable, reliable, and maintainable solutions that meet business needs.

Responsibilities

• Develop REST APIs using C# .NET 8 or later, adhering to best practices and coding standards
• Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including analysis, design, implementation, testing, and deployment
• Collaborate with Business Analysts and team members to ensure technical requirements are accurately translated into functional software
• Create and execute unit and system integration tests to validate application functionality and quality
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues, working closely with IT infrastructure and application teams
• Monitor application performance in production environments and implement proactive solutions to ensure stability
• Provide technical mentorship and support to team members, fostering a collaborative learning environment
• Contribute to technical documentation, design specifications, and code reviews
• Ensure application security, encryption, and performance optimization are integrated into development processes
• Assist in identifying potential production risks and recommend preventive measures to mitigate them

Qualifications

• Demonstrated expertise in REST API development using C# .NET 8 or later
• Solid understanding of software development principles, including object-oriented design, N-Tier architecture, and web technologies
• Experience with multi-threaded programming, caching, security, and encryption techniques
• Working knowledge of middleware concepts such as messaging, EAI, SOA, and B2B/A2A integration
• Familiarity with database management systems and infrastructure architectures
• Experience working within Agile/SCRUM methodologies
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Experience troubleshooting complex issues and collaborating across teams for resolution
• Availability to work remotely with a reliable internet connection

Publishing Pay Range

This is a fully remote role and can be performed from an approved location.
Publishing Pay Range: $80.00 – $90.00 hourly
