About the role
Prescient Edge is seeking a Senior Naval Architect to support a federal government client.
Responsibilities
- Apply theories and principles of science and mathematics to research and develop economical solutions to technical problems, serving as the link between perceived social needs and commercial applications.
- Design products and machinery, and implement improved ways to extract, process, and use raw materials such as petroleum and natural gas.
- Develop new materials that improve product performance and take advantage of advances in technology.
- Analyze the impact of developed products or designed systems on the environment and on the people using them.
- Work in testing, production, or maintenance by supervising production in factories, determining causes of breakdowns, and testing manufactured products to maintain quality.
- Estimate the time and cost to complete projects.
Requirements
- 7 years of professional experience in engineering.
- Master's level degree in any engineering discipline.
- Security clearance required: SECRET level.
- Location: Bethesda, MD.

Pay
Salary range: $100,000 - $135,000. Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
