Senior Natural/ADABAS Developer | onsite

About the role

We are looking for a talented and highly effective Senior Natural/ADABAS Developer to join our development and support team. The position involves supporting, enhancing, and maintaining the statewide Child Support System, which includes interfacing/integrating with other systems on different platforms and automating current processes using latest technologies.

Responsibilities

• Programming experience in Natural, and the utilization of ADABAS
• Experience running Natural processes in batch via JCL and/or SCL, and online
• Experience in the analysis, design, and programming of large or complex development projects on large-scale Linux systems
• Experience with automated child support systems
• Ability to provide subject matter expertise on system architecture
• Experience developing, maintaining, and updating documentation for procedures, policies, and processes
• Experience training end users on software
• Knowledge of child support policies and procedures, and current state and federal mandates as implemented or similar to those in METSS, the MS statewide child support system
• Experience interpreting, designing, and implementing federal and state mandates in Linux systems such as METSS
• Experience with SCRUM / Iteration methodologies
• Experience with Jira Software
• Experience working on multiple projects simultaneously
• Experience converting outdated technologies to new cutting-edge technologies

Requirements

• 10 Years Experience in the analysis, design, and programming of large or complex development projects on large-scale Linux systems
• 2 Years Experience with automated child support systems
• 3 Years Business Skill Set/Requirements including recommendations regarding enhancements to the systems and processes, developing, maintaining, and updating documentation for procedures, policies, and processes, training end users on software, interpreting, designing, and implementing federal and state mandates in Linux systems such as METSS, and conceiving and/or developing creative solutions
• Strong oral and written communication, and time management skills
• Strong presentation and facilitation skills
• Ability to work independently but effectively with a team to accomplish team projects and solve technical problems

Qualifications

• 3 Years Experience developing, maintaining, and updating documentation for procedures, policies, and processes
• 3 Years Experience training end users on software
• 3 Years Knowledge of child support policies and procedures, and current state and federal mandates as implemented or similar to those in METSS, the MS statewide child support system
• 2 Years Experience interpreting, designing, and implementing federal and state mandates in Linux systems such as METSS
• 2 Years Ability to effectively communicate in English verbally and in writing

Pay

Negotiable based on experience and qualifications.

Schedule

Full-time, 40 hours per week.
