About the role

The Health Systems Sales Manager is accountable for managing sales relationships with large, complex, multi-site strategic customers within the healthcare industry. This role involves developing and growing executive account relationships, negotiating strategic selling plans, and implementing change management plans.

Responsibilities

  • Manage sales relationships with large, multi-site Health Systems with MRO potential revenue of $5M or greater.
  • Develop and grow "C Suite" executive account relationships within top Healthcare IDN's and Health Systems nationally.
  • Negotiate addendum and in-user agreements within health systems.
  • Lead the establishment, negotiation, implementation, and compliance of strategic selling plans and contractual agreements.
  • Provide coaching to field sales organization and internal Grainger resources to embed Grainger's Healthcare Value proposition and solutions at health system headquarters.
  • Drive program use and adoption with all associated hospital locations.
  • Maintain profitable growth with existing Health Systems.
  • Lead Change Management methodology throughout the customer's organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • Undergraduate Degree or equivalent business experience required
  • 5+ years Sales or Sales Management experience
  • Performance selling a structured value proposition
  • Strategic Selling & Implementation of Sales Management Process
  • Healthcare Industry Certifications/Knowledge
  • Negotiations across Executive Levels of customer
  • Change Agent - Ability to understand, interpret, & communicate needs to internal partners to provide solutions which meet customer's changing needs
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity & complexity internally & within customer's facility

Pay

The anticipated base pay compensation range for this position is $102,100.00 – $170,100.00. This role is eligible for an incentive target of up to % or $ $31,400.00, based on the achievement of individual and company performance objectives in accordance with the current terms of the incentive program which are subject to change.
