Senior Municipal Water and Wastewater Project Manager
About the role
We are seeking a Senior Water and Wastewater/Municipal Project Manager to join our Water Team serving Eastern PA, NY and NJ. The ideal candidate will thrive as a vital part of a talented, resourceful and collaborative water team that interfaces regularly with our teams across our Mid-Atlantic and Northeast footprints.
Responsibilities
- Support proposal efforts at all levels, develop client/project capture plans.
- Participate in project scoping activities and proposal presentations.
- Build strong relationships and interact regularly with key clients, teaming partners and stakeholders linked to the market.
- Continuously interact with clients assuring satisfaction with Company services and work closely with project delivery personnel to ensure any service issues are identified and addressed in a proactive manner.
- Engage in industry groups and actively participate in committees and/or Board governance.
- Reinforce collaboration and team building, ensure client focus, demonstrate commitment to excellence and innovation, and motivate others to ensure positive morale and engagement.
- Help maintain their CRM activities and data.
- Provide input on business development priorities, budget and expenditures.
- Successfully manage projects and technical task teams for the delivery of work.
- Support the identification and mitigation of risks and commercial terms during the project lifecycle.
Requirements
- 5+ years of related high-level client management experience, 10-15 years of total professional and project management experience in consulting engineering firm or related service.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, Chemical Engineering or related field. Master’s Degree Preferred.
- Professional registration (PE) in New Jersey and ability to obtain licenses in PA, NY and other states if requested.
- Proven business development and project management experience in water/wastewater/municipal infrastructure with design consulting firms.
- Business acumen related to project management, portfolio financials and risk management.
- Use of Deltek or the like CRM software.
Qualifications
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, communication and technical writing skills.
- Experience as an account representative/client account manager, experience as a technical and overall project manager for water/wastewater/municipal engineering infrastructure in the public and private infrastructure owner space.
- Value quality and detail in delivery.

Benefits
The expected salary range for the position is displayed in accordance with New Jersey’s Pay Equity Transparency Law. Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience. Salary range: $116,000 - $197,000.
