Job Duties
- Support regression testing of new simulation features
- Validate fixes against DR/CR tickets
- Perform reproduction steps and document outcomes
- Afford support for automated test execution
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a relevant field
- Minimum 5 years of C++ or Python development
- Minimum 5 years of AFSIM development
- Effective writing and communication skills
- Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI
Experience
- Create mission level AFSIM scenarios and core framework extensions
- Design and maintain M&S architectures that support complex training and analysis needs
- Integrate AFSIM with other federates such as AFMSTT, ASCCE, or BLCSE
- Familiarity with cloud based M&S execution environments
- Experience with performance tuning and scalability in large AFSIM runs
- Prior involvement in Air Force exercises or events where AFSIM was a primary tool
