Senior Mobile Engineer, Thrive
About the role
The Thrive team at Tilt is seeking a Senior Mobile Engineer to drive the growth of our line of credit products. This role involves owning the iOS experience for Tilt's credit products, including optimizing onboarding, application conversion rates, and improving repeat usage. The ideal candidate will also lead experiments aimed at achieving a unified product vision, focusing on outcomes rather than prescriptive steps.
Responsibilities
- Own the iOS experience across Tilt's credit products, ensuring smooth onboarding and user engagement.
- Run experiments to test different product constructs and UX approaches, aiming for a seamless user journey.
- Drive improvements through independent problem-solving, focusing on outcomes such as conversion rates.
- Ensure accuracy in a regulated product, addressing errors that could trigger compliance requirements.
- Grow into full iOS ownership, transitioning to full responsibility for iOS development within 6-12 months.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, data scientists, and backend engineers to ensure credit experiences are robust at all layers.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as an iOS engineer building consumer-facing mobile products.
- A strong background in consumer products, with experience in daily user interaction.
- Experience with product experimentation and analytics, including A/B testing frameworks and analytics platforms.
- An outcome-oriented mindset, capable of driving improvements independently.
- An attention to detail that extends beyond code quality, understanding the importance of precision in a regulated product.
- Experience with Android or cross-platform interest is a plus, but not required.
