Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain enterprise middleware services, APIs, and integration solutions using Java, Spring Boot, and IBM webMethods.
  • Develop REST and SOAP APIs, message routing, transformation logic, and reusable integration services.
  • Modernize legacy integration services into Java-based microservices aligned with OpenShift container platforms.
  • Support enterprise API integrations while maintaining compatibility with existing systems and consumers.
  • Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement application-level fixes and performance improvements.
  • Prepare deployment packages, release documentation, rollback procedures, and operational runbooks.
  • Collaborate with Government teams during system integration, testing, deployment, and production support activities.
  • Monitor application performance and resolve issues using enterprise monitoring and logging tools.
  • Support vulnerability remediation, dependency upgrades, and infrastructure currency initiatives.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with 7+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5+ years of experience designing and developing enterprise middleware and integration solutions.
  • Strong experience with Java, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, SOAP Web Services, and microservices architecture.
  • Hands-on experience with IBM webMethods ESB, message routing, transformation, and enterprise integration patterns.
  • Experience developing and deploying applications on OpenShift or Kubernetes-based container platforms.
  • Strong understanding of API lifecycle management and enterprise integration best practices.
  • Experience troubleshooting production systems, performing root cause analysis, and supporting mission-critical applications.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and automated deployment processes.
  • Familiarity with AppDynamics, ELK Stack, or similar application monitoring tools.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
