Senior Middleware Administrator

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Middleware Administrator to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space. This role will oversee enterprise middleware operations across critical application environments, with a strong focus on stability, security, and automation. The position is responsible for supporting secure integrations, improving operational efficiency, and helping ensure reliable platform performance across the organization’s technology stack. The ideal candidate will partner closely with infrastructure, security, and application teams to remediate risks and streamline middleware support processes. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $110,000 – $130,000 annually Responsibilities Manage and support enterprise middleware environments, including WebSphere and WebLogic Perform security remediation, vulnerability management, and compliance validation Administer SSL/TLS certificates and integrate with LDAP and Active Directory Design and maintain automation solutions for middleware tasks Develop scripts in Shell, Python, and JACL for automation Support CI/CD processes and enterprise automation tools Monitor middleware performance and conduct root cause analysis Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience 6+ years of middleware administration experience Experience with enterprise WebSphere and WebLogic environments Proficient in security remediation and compliance management Demonstrated ability to develop automation solutions for operational efficiency Benefits Access to advanced training and development opportunities Flexible work arrangements to promote work-life balance Collaborative team environment with a focus on innovation Opportunities to work with cutting-edge technologies Support for professional certifications and continuing education Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
