Senior MEP Manager

About the role

Act as the owner's onsite advocate, overseeing MEP systems from pre-construction through commissioning, turnover, and closeout. Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role involves design review, MEP coordination, field oversight, contractor management, commissioning (L1-L5), and client-facing project leadership.

The position offers long-term project opportunities nationwide, with significant travel and relocation support available.

Responsibilities

• Oversee MEP systems throughout all project phases: pre-construction, construction, commissioning, turnover, and closeout.
• Conduct design reviews and MEP coordination to ensure alignment with project goals.
• Provide field oversight and manage contractors to maintain quality, safety, and schedule adherence.
• Lead commissioning processes (L1-L5) to ensure operational readiness and system integration.
• Represent the owner in multi-stakeholder environments, driving project execution and managing scope, schedule, cost, and risk.

Requirements

• 10+ years of MEP/construction experience across mission-critical or complex commercial projects.
• Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and control systems, including commissioning.
• Proven ability to manage contractors, coordinate trades, and drive delivery across project phases.
• Experience owning scope, schedule, cost, and risk in multi-stakeholder environments.
• Background in data centers, mission-critical, industrial, or complex infrastructure projects.
• Experience representing owners or contractors on large-scale construction projects.
