About the Role

The Senior Mental Health Counselor provides counseling, education, and case management as part of a multidisciplinary Palliative Care team. They assume leadership and mentoring roles to support growth and improve client and caregiver quality of life.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing program processes and curricula
  • Demonstrate advanced clinical skills
  • Serve as a resource for clinicians

Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Psychology, Counseling Psychology, Social Work, or a related field
  • Alaska licensure (e.g., Social Worker, Psychologist, Counselor)
  • Basic life support certification
  • At least 5 years of clinical experience
