About the Role
The Senior Mental Health Counselor provides counseling, education, and case management as part of a multidisciplinary Palliative Care team. They assume leadership and mentoring roles to support growth and improve client and caregiver quality of life.
Responsibilities
- Assist in developing program processes and curricula
- Demonstrate advanced clinical skills
- Serve as a resource for clinicians
Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Psychology, Counseling Psychology, Social Work, or a related field
- Alaska licensure (e.g., Social Worker, Psychologist, Counselor)
- Basic life support certification
- At least 5 years of clinical experience
