The Senior Mental Health Counselor provides counseling, education, and case management as part of a multidisciplinary Palliative Care team. They offer advanced clinical skills, serve as a resource for clinicians, and take on leadership and mentoring duties to enhance client care and team growth. The role also involves assisting in program development, process maintenance, and curriculum creation.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field
  • Licensure in Alaska (e.g., social worker, psychologist, counselor)
  • At least 5 years of clinical experience
  • Basic Life Support certification
