This role supports financial strategy, forecasting, and performance management initiatives that strengthen business visibility and decision-making. You will partner with executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to improve planning processes, financial discipline, controls, and resource allocation. The position offers the opportunity to influence enterprise performance and scalable financial operations within a regulated financial services environment.
Responsibilities
- Design and enhance large-scale constrained optimization methods for trading decisions
- Oversee complex projects impacting critical systems
- Analyze new datasets and assess their predictive efficacy
- Develop and implement new models into production
- Conduct experiments to evaluate new models in live environments
- Mentor researchers and provide guidance to team members
- Communicate complex issues effectively with stakeholders
Qualifications
- 5-10+ years of experience in optimization techniques and project leadership
- Proficient in numerical methods and optimization solvers
- Strong capabilities in managing multiple, complex projects
- Expertise in mathematical programming and computational problem-solving
- Solid background in machine learning and statistical methods
- Skilled in production coding, preferably Python and/or C++
- Effective communicator of technical concepts across disciplines
- Ph.D. level coursework required, Ph.D. preferred

Pay
$130,000 – $180,000 annually
