Senior Medical Writer - Publications

Skills

• Advanced scientific degree (PhD, PharmD, MD)
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the medical communications industry
• Strong experience developing publications and congress-related materials for pharmaceutical or biotech clients
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications, specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook

Responsibilities

• Independently drive content development for dedicated accounts
• Materials include: Slide decks, primary and secondary manuscripts, review articles, abstracts, posters, oral presentations, congress materials, publication extenders, and derivative content
• Delivers well-written materials that are scientifically and technically accurate for review
• Creates project content of the highest quality, technically accurate, and aligned with the goals and objectives of the project brief
• Supports execution of a wide range of projects across teams and therapeutic areas
• Communicates regularly and clearly with internal cross-functional stakeholders
• Provides project-level mentorship as appropriate to less experienced team members

Requirements

• Expert knowledge of client review and approval systems (eg, Veeva and DataVision)
