Senior Medical Writer, Oncology Publications

Responsibilities

  • Develop a variety of medical and scientific communications materials, including manuscripts, abstracts, posters, slide decks, congress materials, and publication plans.
  • Interpret and communicate complex scientific and clinical data with accuracy and clarity.
  • Collaborate closely with account teams, clients, and subject matter experts.
  • Ensure scientific content meets strategic objectives, publication standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in literature reviews and data analysis to support publication development.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.

Qualifications

  • Advanced scientific degree preferred.
  • Prior experience within a medical communications, publications, or healthcare advertising agency environment is required.
  • Strong publication writing experience, including manuscripts, abstracts, posters, and congress-related deliverables.
  • Oncology experience highly preferred.
  • Exceptional scientific writing, editing, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced agency setting.
