Responsibilities
- Identify and develop relationships with key opinion leaders in the neurology and epilepsy fields
- Develop and execute strategic territory plans
- Collaborate with internal teams to enhance opportunities
- Communicate clinical and research insights from key opinion leaders to relevant departments
- Conduct medical education presentations at healthcare institutions and events
- Provide scientific support to formulary committees and payers
- Lead additional scientific support initiatives, such as medical congress staffing
Qualifications
- MS degree in a scientific or medical field; MD, PharmD, or PhD preferred
- Experience as a Medical Science Liaison (MSL)
- MSL experience in epilepsy, spasticity, or cannabinoid science preferred
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships in the medical community
- Excellent presentation, communication, and teaching skills
- Clinical or research experience in epilepsy, neurology, or cannabinoid science preferred
- Current knowledge of US regulations relevant to healthcare professional interactions
- Strong skills with digital platforms and tools
- Willingness to travel 60-80% of the time
