Pay

$40/hr - $42/hr, granted based on experience.

Schedule

Hybrid, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

  • Prepares and runs biweekly and weekly medical payroll.
  • Handles the entire payroll process from beginning to end.
  • Enters and maintains all data in Paycom HRIS.
  • Accurately keys all payroll-related data including direct deposits, salary adjustments, hours worked and overtime data, PTO, bonuses, reimbursements, etc.
  • Responds to and resolves employees' questions and problems regarding pay in a professional and timely manner.
  • Processes new hire paperwork and follows up on any outstanding issues, ensuring accurate employee information is entered into the system.
  • Handles employment verifications.
  • Prepares and distributes biweekly payroll reports, including gross pay, deductions, and taxes.
  • Reviews W2 statements for accuracy and compliance.
  • Investigates and resolves payroll discrepancies related to timecard entries, deductions, or employee information.
  • Ensures compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local tax regulations related to payroll processing.

Requirements

  • Proficient in payroll processing for medical organizations.
  • Senior-level experience.
  • Unwavering commitment to maintaining the confidentiality of payroll and Human Resource information.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to clearly explain complex information to employees.
  • Advanced technical skills, including experience with Payroll software and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Proven ability to multi-task, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent attendance record and demonstrated reliability.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with a commitment to providing prompt and helpful support to employees.
  • Strong attention to detail, highly organized, and ability to stay focused on accuracy in payroll calculations and data entry.
  • Self-motivated and proactive with the initiative to identify problems and propose solutions.
  • Strong sense of ethics and integrity in handling sensitive information and making fair decisions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve payroll or HR-related issues with minimal errors.
  • Knowledge of federal and state payroll regulations, including wage and hour laws, tax withholding, and reporting requirements.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Adaptable to changing priorities and new technologies in the HR and payroll field.

Qualifications

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED required. Associate's degree in a related field from an accredited university preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5+ years in all aspects of payroll.
  • Multi-state payroll processing and taxes.
  • Healthcare experience is a plus.
