Senior Medical Laboratory Scientist

About the role

Under the general supervision of the Laboratory Manager, the Medical Technologist is responsible for the performance of routine and specialized tests carried out in the Clinical and/or Microbiology Laboratory(ies). Solves technical problems requiring a complex degree of judgment with minimum supervision.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology or a related science
• Upon hire: California Clinical Laboratory Scientist License or California Clinical Chemist Scientist License or California Clinical Immunohematologist Scientist License or California Clinical Microbiologist Scientist License or California Clinical Toxicologist Scientist License or California Clinical Cytogeneticist Scientist License or California Clinical Genetic Molecular Biologist Scientist License or California Clinical Hematology Scientist License or California Clinical Histocompatibility Scientist License or California Clinical Laboratory Scientist Biochemistry Special License

Pay

Base pay range: $59.84 - $94.46 per hour. Placement within the range is determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. Additional compensation may be available, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.

Schedule

Full time, 8-hour variable shifts.
