Senior Medical Director, Medical Affairs

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Medical Director, Medical Affairs to join the team of a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space. This role will provide senior-level medical oversight for clinical trials, with a strong focus on medical monitoring, safety review, and protocol support across regional and global studies. You will partner closely with cross-functional project teams to ensure scientific rigor, timely issue resolution, and effective execution throughout the development process. The position also includes meaningful contribution to feasibility, proposal development, and therapeutic training efforts that support broader clinical development objectives. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $175,000 – $348,000 annually Responsibilities Medically manage assigned clinical trials as Medical Monitor Serve as Global Lead Medical Monitor for regional or global trials Collaborate with project teams to process Serious Adverse Events Provide therapeutic and protocol-specific training to project teams Contribute medical input to clinical development programs and study protocols Offer after-hours medical support for assigned projects Support business development through proposal generation and feasibility assessments Qualifications Medical Degree from an accredited institution 6-8 years of experience in CRO, Pharma, or Biotech as a medical monitor or study physician Valid passport and willingness to travel Strong organizational and time management skills Excellent spoken and written English skills Benefits Comprehensive benefits package depending on location Commitment to pay equity and transparency Opportunities for professional development and mentorship Inclusive and equitable workplace culture Participation in scholarly programs and conferences Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
