Senior Medical Director, Clinical Development

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Medical Director specializing in Clinical Development with an emphasis on medical monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on medical monitoring and expert clinical insights to support the design, execution, and evaluation of clinical trials.
• Act as the key medical liaison between investigative sites and sponsors, offering real-time medical guidance.
• Review and interpret safety data, contribute to clinical and scientific discussions, and drive high-quality study execution.

Requirements

• Possess a Doctor of Medicine (MD) from an accredited institution.
• Have a robust foundation in clinical medicine.
• Have significant experience in medical research or clinical development.
• A minimum of 10 to 15 years of experience in clinical development, particularly significant experience in medical monitoring and oversight of clinical trials.
• Prior experience as a medical monitor on Phase I-IV clinical trials within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or CRO environments.
• A strong understanding of clinical trial methodology, safety assessments, and medical data review.
• Expertise in oncology, hematology, or related therapeutic areas is a plus.

Qualifications
