Key Responsibilities
- Lead mechanical construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
- Develop strategic project execution processes and operational best practices.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships while supporting future business development.
- Lead project planning, budgeting, forecasting, scheduling, procurement, and change management.
- Collaborate with field leadership, subcontractors, engineers, architects, and owners.
- Mentor and develop Project Engineers, Assistant Project Managers, and Project Managers.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives throughout the mechanical division.
- Help position the business for future growth while maintaining exceptional client satisfaction.
- Champion safety, quality, and operational excellence on every project.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
- Approximately 5-15 years of mechanical construction project management experience.
- Experience managing commercial mechanical construction projects.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence without relying solely on formal authority.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
- Experience leading project financials, schedules, subcontract management, and client communications.
- Previous experience supervising project teams preferred.
- Able to travel periodically to Southeast Alaska (primarily Juneau and Ketchikan).
- Candidates with experience from larger regional mechanical contractors are highly preferred.
