Senior Mechanical Engineer – New Product Development
About the role
Lead design and development from concept to launch, shaping the future of industrial automation
Take ownership of full-cycle projects: scope, timeline, and deliverables
Design, build, and test innovative mechanical and electromechanical systems using advanced tools (SolidWorks preferred)
Engineer and evaluate system performance through experiments and data-driven testing
Build, qualify, and continually refine custom test equipment
Collaborate across functions including R&D, manufacturing and business development, drive brainstorming and design reviews
Communicate progress, risks, and results across multidisciplinary teams
Responsibilities
- Lead design and development from concept to launch, shaping the future of industrial automation
- Take ownership of full-cycle projects: scope, timeline, and deliverables
- Design, build, and test innovative mechanical and electromechanical systems using advanced tools (SolidWorks preferred)
- Engineer and evaluate system performance through experiments and data-driven testing
- Build, qualify, and continually refine custom test equipment
- Collaborate across functions including R&D, manufacturing and business development, drive brainstorming and design reviews
- Communicate progress, risks, and results across multidisciplinary teams
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- 5 years hands-on engineering experience
- Proven expertise in 3D modeling (SolidWorks, Pro-E, Inventor, etc.)
- Exceptional mechanical design and prototyping skills
- A builder’s mindset: eager to test, learn, and improve—quickly
Qualifications
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without need for employer sponsorship, now or in the future.
Skills
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in SolidWorks or similar CAD software

Pay
Compensation is competitive and based on experience and qualifications. Performance-based reviews are given annually.
