About the role

Lead design and development from concept to launch, shaping the future of industrial automation
Take ownership of full-cycle projects: scope, timeline, and deliverables
Design, build, and test innovative mechanical and electromechanical systems using advanced tools (SolidWorks preferred)
Engineer and evaluate system performance through experiments and data-driven testing
Build, qualify, and continually refine custom test equipment
Collaborate across functions including R&D, manufacturing and business development, drive brainstorming and design reviews
Communicate progress, risks, and results across multidisciplinary teams

Responsibilities

  • Lead design and development from concept to launch, shaping the future of industrial automation
  • Take ownership of full-cycle projects: scope, timeline, and deliverables
  • Design, build, and test innovative mechanical and electromechanical systems using advanced tools (SolidWorks preferred)
  • Engineer and evaluate system performance through experiments and data-driven testing
  • Build, qualify, and continually refine custom test equipment
  • Collaborate across functions including R&D, manufacturing and business development, drive brainstorming and design reviews
  • Communicate progress, risks, and results across multidisciplinary teams

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • 5 years hands-on engineering experience
  • Proven expertise in 3D modeling (SolidWorks, Pro-E, Inventor, etc.)
  • Exceptional mechanical design and prototyping skills
  • A builder’s mindset: eager to test, learn, and improve—quickly

Qualifications

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without need for employer sponsorship, now or in the future.

Skills

  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks or similar CAD software

Pay

Compensation is competitive and based on experience and qualifications. Performance-based reviews are given annually.
