Responsibilities
- Research, plan, analyze, design, and develop mechanical products such as ammunition handling systems, structures, gun systems, missile launchers, mechanisms, and related devices.
- Perform technical analysis, testing, and evaluation of moderately complex engineering problems using specialized equipment and software.
- Analyze and interpret design specifications, drawings, models, and test data to ensure compliance with engineering standards, military specifications, and product requirements.
- Create and maintain product parts, assemblies, and drawings using PTC Creo Parametric modeling software.
- Develop and revise technical documentation and contribute to technical reports and presentations.
- Provide technical support to production activities and deliver presentations as needed.
- Perform engineering design, development, analysis, experimentation, and product assurance tasks for assigned project components.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external manufacturing or machine shops to ensure design manufacturability.
- Maintain effective relationships with customers and stakeholders.
- Provide input to project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Maintain current knowledge of engineering practices and ensure compliance with safety policies.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or related discipline.
- Minimum 4 years of relevant engineering experience or M.S. degree with 2 years of experience.
- Experience creating moderately complex solid models and mechanical designs using CAD systems, preferably PTC Pro-E or Creo.
- Experience solving moderately complex engineering design and development problems.
- Experience working with internal or external manufacturing or machine shops.
Qualifications
- Familiarity with military and commercial design standards.
- Knowledge of modern engineering applications and technologies.
- Experience in a military or defense production environment.
- Experience developing precision assembly tooling.

Pay
Pay Range: $58.00 - $63.00 per hour (Depending on experience and qualifications)
