We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team. This is a permanent position that involves managing HVAC projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing innovative HVAC systems. This role requires a high level of technical knowledge, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work well in a team environment. The Senior Mechanical Engineer will be a key player in driving our company's growth and success.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and engineer high-quality models using 3D and 2D CAD tools.
- Produce HVAC system layouts and schematics using AutoCAD.
- Lead and manage HVAC projects from conception to completion.
- Conduct detailed calculations to develop manufacturing, construction, and installation standards and specifications.
- Review and evaluate system designs and engineering drawings.
- Ensure all HVAC projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Troubleshoot and solve engineering related problems.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary engineering teams, and work with vendors and contractors.
- Conduct HVAC system and equipment testing, and provide feedback for improvements.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 5+ years of experience within HVAC engineering.
- Proficient in Trace 700, TRACE 3D, AutoCAD, and other relevant software.
- Solid understanding of hydronic HVAC systems and their components.
- Excellent project management and leadership skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Proven track record of managing large scale projects and achieving results.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license in Mechanical Engineering is required.
Pay
$125,000 - $160,000 per year
