Senior Mechanical Engineer (HVAC Projects)

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team. This is a permanent position that involves managing HVAC projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing innovative HVAC systems. This role requires a high level of technical knowledge, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work well in a team environment. The Senior Mechanical Engineer will be a key player in driving our company's growth and success.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and engineer high-quality models using 3D and 2D CAD tools.
• Produce HVAC system layouts and schematics using AutoCAD.
• Lead and manage HVAC projects from conception to completion.
• Conduct detailed calculations to develop manufacturing, construction, and installation standards and specifications.
• Review and evaluate system designs and engineering drawings.
• Ensure all HVAC projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Troubleshoot and solve engineering related problems.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary engineering teams, and work with vendors and contractors.
• Conduct HVAC system and equipment testing, and provide feedback for improvements.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience within HVAC engineering.
• Proficient in Trace 700, TRACE 3D, AutoCAD, and other relevant software.
• Solid understanding of hydronic HVAC systems and their components.
• Excellent project management and leadership skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Proven track record of managing large scale projects and achieving results.
• Professional Engineering (PE) license in Mechanical Engineering is required.

Pay

$125,000 - $160,000 per year
