As a Senior Mechanical Engineer specializing in Critical Facilities, you will contribute to landmark projects worldwide, working from our Hamilton, NJ or Boston, MA office. Responsibilities

  • Represent the firm in interactions with clients, contractors, architects, and other project team members.
  • Create basic designs under the direction of senior engineers and/or designers, develop specifications, system narratives, and system layouts for various projects.
  • Establish design standards, specifications, and criteria for projects.
  • Supervise preparation of reports and analysis of system options and building conditions.
  • Maintain interdisciplinary coordination with other trades and project consultants.
  • Monitor all correspondence between staff, clients, contractors, owners, etc.
  • Supervise construction administrative duties such as field reports, responses to RFIs, processing bulletins and addenda.
  • Conduct periodic objective and comprehensive employee evaluations.
  • Participate in and contribute to the business unit Technical Leadership Committee.
  • Assist the Technical Manager and Chief Engineer in business unit technical training and staff mentoring.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution.
  • 7–10 years of experience working in a consulting firm, with a background in the MEP engineering industry (this is a senior-level role).
  • 3 years of supervisory experience.
  • Hands-on design and CAD/REVIT experience, with a strong technical role.
