Senior Mechanical Engineer - Critical Facilities

Responsibilities
- Represent the firm in interactions with clients, contractors, architects, and other project team members.
- Create basic designs under the direction of senior engineers and/or designers, develop specifications, system narratives, and system layouts for various projects.
- Establish design standards, specifications, and criteria for projects.
- Supervise preparation of reports and analysis of system options and building conditions.
- Maintain interdisciplinary coordination with other trades and project consultants.
- Monitor all correspondence between staff, clients, contractors, owners, etc.
- Supervise construction administrative duties such as field reports, responses to RFIs, processing bulletins and addenda.
- Conduct periodic objective and comprehensive employee evaluations.
- Participate in and contribute to the business unit Technical Leadership Committee.
- Assist the Technical Manager and Chief Engineer in business unit technical training and staff mentoring.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution.
- 7–10 years of experience working in a consulting firm, with a background in the MEP engineering industry (this is a senior-level role).
- 3 years of supervisory experience.
- Hands-on design and CAD/REVIT experience, with a strong technical role.
