Qualifications

  • Design of plumbing and fire protection systems for buildings.
  • This may include domestic hot and cold water, sanitary and vent, storm drainage, natural and medical gas, compressed air, sprinkler, fire pump, and clean agent fire suppression systems.
  • Preparation of construction documents including calculations, drawings, details, and specifications.
  • Construction administration services such as site visits, construction meetings, review of submittals, and responding to RFI’s.

Requirements

  • Experience with AutoCAD and Revit required.
  • Responsible B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or a related field required.
  • EIT Certification or PE License is preferred, not required.
  • 4+ years prior experience in designing plumbing and fire protection systems.
  • Experience with and knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, AutoCAD and Revit required.
  • Ability to interact with all levels of employees, especially Mechanical, Electrical and Structural Engineers.
  • Willing to learn new interesting technical fields.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work on several projects at once.
  • Ability to work in a team environment, self-starter, demonstrated organizational skills, and willingness to learn.

T&M estimates that the salary range for this position will fall between $90,000 - $115,000. The actual salary offered may vary within this range, depending on a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, educational qualifications, specific skills and knowledge, as well as internal pay equity and geographic location.
