Job Responsibilities
- Represent the Firm in all interactions with clients, contractors, architects, and other project team members
- Design large projects, prepare reports and specifications, and provide technical leadership
- Provide consulting services, including preparation of due diligence reports, gap analyses, and feasibility reports
- Develop sustainable mechanical solutions, produce concepts and detailed drawings
- Oversee the production of drawings consistent with client requirements and standards
- Coordinate with design team, owner, and contractors
- Establish design standards, specifications, and criteria for projects
- Prepare proposals and administer project contracts between SHG and the client, including Add Service Agreements
- Conduct business development activities, participate in various trade organizations, and prepare presentations
- Establish project budgets and schedules
- Participate in QA/QC process of completed work by staff
- Perform staff resource management and review
- Current PE registration as a Mechanical Engineer with a solid, and stable work track record
- Experience working in a consulting firm with a minimum of 8 years, including 3+ years of supervisory or project management experience
- LEED AP accreditation, highly preferred
- Strong coordination skills for mechanical systems with architectural, structural, electrical, and telecom
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD and REVIT experience
- PE required
