Description
- Research, develop, design, manufacture, and test tools, engines, machines, and other mechanical devices.
- Work on power-producing machines such as electric generators, internal combustion engines, and steam and gas turbines.
- Develop power-using machines such as refrigeration and air-conditioning equipment, machine tools, material handling systems, elevators and escalators, industrial production equipment, and robots used in manufacturing.
- Design tools that other engineers need for their work.
- Rely on computers to assist in computations and design data processing, and facilitate changes to existing designs.
- Use Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and Computer-Aided Manufacturing (CAM).
Security Clearance
Security clearance required: SECRET level.
Requirements
- Experience: 7 years of professional experience.
- Education: Bachelor's level degree in Mechanical Engineering.
