Responsibilities
- Manage and own the entire electronics rack for the eProbe platform
- Design electro-mechanical modules from concept to production, including electronic enclosures, layout of cable routing and cable management, machined parts, sheet metal, welding etc.
- Conduct system and module analysis, such as thermal modeling, GD&T including tolerancing stack-up
- Interface with other Mechanical, System, Software and Electrical engineers to ensure proper mechanical module integration
- Create documentation including drawings, BOMs and procedures
- Manage suppliers to ensure design requirements and project schedules are met
- Support engineering projects
- Drive continuous engineering projects and process improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering
- Solid analytical and engineering skills
- 5+ years’ experience in mechanical engineering, preferable in semiconductor
- Proficiency with 3D solid modeling, preferably SolidWorks
- Experience with FEA, thermal, flow, and vibration
- Experience with supplier management
- Able to work effectively and partner with various team members
- Able to manage multiple priorities, work under time constraints and deadlines
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, collaboration and influencing skills
- Able to respond to, prioritize effectively and meet deadlines while maintaining the highest of standards for completeness and accuracy
- Able to effectively operate in a fast-paced team environment with ability to adapt to change
- Experience working in Cleanrooms or production fabs where particle and chemical contamination is critical
- Experience using Solidworks Electrical
- Experience creating P&ID (Piping and Instrumentation Diagram) and electrical schematics
- Experience designing electro-mechanical enclosures and component interface placement working closely with EE’s to ensure proper fit
Pay
Pay Range: USD $130,000.00 - USD $180,000.00 /Yr.
