Senior Mechanical Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our multi-disciplinary engineering team. You will be involved in designing, developing, manufacturing, and testing mechanical equipment, components, or systems for various clients including the Army and other Department of Defense customers.

Responsibilities

• Research and develop mechanical equipment, components, or systems
• Design, analyze, and manufacture prototypes
• Oversee integration and testing of mechanical/aerospace products
• Lead technical execution of projects involving multi-disciplinary engineering teams
• Interface with customers and internal program managers to define expectations, schedules, and goals
• Contribute to the success of assigned programs

Requirements

• ABET accredited BS degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering
• 10+ years' experience performing engineering-related duties
• Background in Mechanical/Aerospace design and analysis
• Demonstrated technical project leadership/tasking
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance

Qualifications

• Desired: Aviation/Ground Vehicle or Missile Integration Experience
• Knowledge of ASME Drawing Standards and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing principles
• Working knowledge of military/DOD Technical Data Package practices and standards
