Senior Mechanical Engineer

About the role

Serve as a Senior Mechanical Engineer within HEAPY, contributing to the design and implementation of sustainable, resilient building solutions. Collaborate closely with colleagues across disciplines to deliver high-performance buildings that meet client needs while supporting sustainability goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of mechanical systems for new and existing buildings.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with building codes and standards.
• Conduct energy modeling and analysis to optimize system performance and reduce energy consumption.
• Manage project schedules and budgets, ensuring timely completion of projects within scope and budget.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians.
• Participate in the selection and evaluation of equipment and materials to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

The role requires occasional travel to client sites and meetings, as well as the ability to work in various office settings. Physical demands include standing for extended periods, occasional lifting, and working in variable weather conditions.
