What you will do:
- Lead advanced FEA and multiphysics simulations to support design, optimization, and troubleshooting of complex systems.
- Own analysis activities end-to-end, including model setup, validation, and design recommendations.
- Perform structural (linear and nonlinear), thermal, vibration, and coupled multiphysics analyses.
- Translate simulation results into actionable design improvements that enhance performance and reliability.
- Partner with engineering and process teams to define modeling approaches and validation strategies.
- Design and support test plans to correlate models with experimental data.
- Influence product architecture and subsystem design through physics-based insights.
- Serve as a technical reviewer and subject matter expert for modeling across programs.
- Establish and promote best practices in simulation, validation, and engineering rigor.
- Mentor and support engineers in developing modeling skills.
Required Qualifications:
- MS or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or related field
- 5–15+ years of industry experience in FEA or multiphysics modeling
- Strong proficiency in Ansys (Mechanical / Workbench required; APDL experience preferred)
- Proven ability to correlate simulation results with physical testing
- Strong understanding of fundamental physics and practical engineering applications
- Experience driving design decisions through analysis, not just supporting them
- Excellent communication skills with ability to present to cross-functional teams and leadership

PAY:
The U.S. base salary range for this role is $121,050.08 - $181,575.12.
