Senior Marketing Engineer II

Responsibilities

• Define the technical vision and prioritize AI and automation applications in marketing
• Build a structured data foundation to connect critical marketing insights and outcomes
• Design and implement automated solutions across multiple marketing functions
• Assess the use of large language models in marketing initiatives and address data gaps
• Establish a new standard for marketing processes to improve effectiveness, not just speed
• Integrate marketing systems and requirements into the broader engineering organization
• Run tests on new workflows and automations, documenting successful strategies for future use
• Collaborate with marketing teams to identify friction points and translate technical insights into actionable business strategies

Qualifications

• Deep experience in technical marketing, marketing engineering, or growth engineering with a focus on setting technical direction
• Strong programming skills, particularly in Python or JavaScript, and experience building automations or data pipelines
• Hands-on experience building custom AI agents or LLM-powered tools with innovative applications
• Ability to navigate ambiguous situations and create structured frameworks
• Experience integrating data from various sources, including pricing and product, to establish a cohesive foundation
• Systems thinking with a proven history of building scalable solutions rather than isolated fixes
• Skill in translating technical concepts to business impact and communicating effectively without direct authority
