Daikin Applied is seeking a Marketing Engineer II to help identify business opportunities and execute marketing strategies to win business. This person will support product managers in implementing business and product strategies & serve as a functional expert and liaison for the technical systems side of the marketing team.

Responsibilities

  • Provide marketing support or project management for product development or maintenance.
  • Develop or maintain literature and promotional tools.
  • Aid in the development or maintenance of technical unit selection software.
  • Investigate reported bugs and suggested enhancements in unit selection software, and other various applications.
  • Perform marketing evaluations that consider distribution needs, customer needs, market trends, competition, P&L requirements, and recommend appropriate action with direction.
  • Assist by providing information to the Product Manager for sales forecast and ROI projections.
  • Communicate marketing needs to other functional groups. i.e) engineering, IT, planning.
  • Use of good communication skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Master’s Degree (preferred)
  • 2-5 years working in the HVAC industry (preferred)

  • Ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

Pay

The typical annual base salary for this position ranges from $74,200 - $124,300 in Virginia. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
