Marketing Engineer II

Daikin Applied is seeking a Marketing Engineer II to help identify business opportunities and execute marketing strategies to win business. This person will support product managers in implementing business and product strategies & serve as a functional expert and liaison for the technical systems side of the marketing team.
Responsibilities
- Provide marketing support or project management for product development or maintenance.
- Develop or maintain literature and promotional tools.
- Aid in the development or maintenance of technical unit selection software.
- Investigate reported bugs and suggested enhancements in unit selection software, and other various applications.
- Perform marketing evaluations that consider distribution needs, customer needs, market trends, competition, P&L requirements, and recommend appropriate action with direction.
- Assist by providing information to the Product Manager for sales forecast and ROI projections.
- Communicate marketing needs to other functional groups. i.e) engineering, IT, planning.
- Use of good communication skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Master’s Degree (preferred)
- 2-5 years working in the HVAC industry (preferred)

Pay
The typical annual base salary for this position ranges from $74,200 - $124,300 in Virginia. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
