Responsibilities
- Perform various mechanical, quality control, and chemistry processes on consumable components in a manufacturing cleanroom environment.
- Conduct final assembly, kitting, labeling, and packaging of consumable components and final products in a manufacturing environment.
- Support the building of consumables for both production and R&D purposes, as guided by engineers.
- Adhere to production schedules to meet delivery targets.
- Follow work instructions and execute batch records for various consumable components.
- Perform routine lab maintenance duties (e.g., lab cleaning, Kanban refill, 5S) to maintain a clean manufacturing environment.
- Adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality control policies, including equipment maintenance, consumable dispositions, and general lab practices.
- Propose new ideas and initiatives to improve workflow and processes in collaboration with engineers.
- Support internal teams in running development experiments and other related duties as needed.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Typically requires 5+ years of hands-on experience as a manufacturing technician working on consumable operations.
- Previous working experience in a cleanroom manufacturing environment.
- Ability to follow standard procedures and working instructions, and to enter data into a web-based batch record system.
- Detail-oriented with strong communication skills and the ability to multitask.
- Demonstrated ability to perform the essential duties of the position with or without reasonable accommodations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous working experience in an ISO/cGMP manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency with Excel and Word for documenting results and data analysis.
- Previous working experience with a manufacturing ERP system.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs for approximately 15% of a typical working day.
- Ability to grasp with both hands; pinch with thumb and forefinger; turn with hand/arm; reach above shoulder height.
- Ability to comply with personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements.
Pay
In California, the estimated base salary range for this position is $25.00 – $32.00/hour. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
